Technology Education students in the High School designed and constructed a working boat with the primary building material being duct tape. The hope is that the boat will float. The event also included lots of grilled meat products and sunshine. It was a great day.

AlBrook teachers met with students  in grades seven through twelve, “one on one”, to review each student’s progress towards graduation. Test scores, grades, behavior and educational programs available through the school supporting students keeping “on track” towards graduation were discussed. As students you are in control of doing well in school. Turning in all assignments, working in class, keeping a positive attitude/respecting the learning process are all part of becoming a successful independent adult.:)

Post-graduation plans were also reviewed in preparation for further education and employment options.

This is an on-going program for teachers and students to meet, review and assist students as they prepare for their educational success in ISD2142. The AlBrook staff  and administration is committed to every student doing well and will assist students in meeting their personal educational goals.

We believe a healthy community supports successful students.

If you have any questions concerning your progress towards graduation please see your adviser, Mr. Erickson and/or Ms. Berlin.
